SURF CAMP

Before starting University in Jimbaran I decided to go for 10 days to a surf camp in Canggu. There are a lot of different camps and it was hard to make a decision for one – finally the Kima surf camp met all my expectations and more. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or already an advanced surfer – this camp has for any level the right surf guide: https://kimasurf.com

I arrived on a Sunday around 11 pm to Denpasar very tired from the whole journey. Nevertheless the friendly smile from the guy who picked me up (ap transfer in the reservation included) maked me feel immediately comfortable and was a nice welcoming to the ile. On the next morning I got an instruction about the whole processing and surf schedule. Actually, it’s very easy: You can decide which spot you want to go – they are trips for four different levels and depending the day and level you have, you can choose between a day trip or just a morning / afternoon session. After the assignment you just have to be ready on time for the departure. Be aware they leave the camp around 6 am – so if you want to get some sleep this camp is for sure not the right place.

But actually there is time for some relaxe. Next to surf you can participate almost every day in a yoga class on a beautiful outdoor place where you can feel the wind and hear the birds twittering. The food (breakfast and lunch) is soooo good and I could eat all the time (I think next to surfing I did) – and also unforgettable was the kitchen / reception staff they are the most friendly people I ever have seen in my life!

I can recommend to everyone to make this experience it was one of the best things I have ever done. Below you can find some imperssions.

Ps. Surfing can cause blue spots, swelling and scratches on the legs!
